Aidan Mitchell was born on 4 October 1993 near Boston, Massachusetts. He moved along with his family to his father’s birthplace in Galway, Ireland when he was three and a half years old, and stayed there for seven years. He started doing theatre and appeared on the stage production of ‘Oliver!‘ at the Town Hall Theatre. At the age of eleven, he moved back to America and his family settled in San Diego, California.
Just after about a year, he moved with his mother to Hollywood, and started acting over there, as he appeared in his first film ‘The TV Set’, in which he was seen as a young British boy. After this, he appeared in a lead role of “Nate Gibbs” in the film named ‘Simple Things’. He is best known for his role in the television series ‘The Riches’ in which he plays “Sam Malloy“.
He won the Film Award of the Best Supporting Child Actor at the International Family Film Festival-2007 held in Los Angeles in California, for his role in the film ‘Simple Things‘. He earned the nomination for the Young Artist Award -2008, in the category of Best Performance in a TV Series - Supporting Young Actor for his role in ‘The Riches’.

He is youngest amongst the children and has a flair for drawing. This was seen when he spent the first night at the Rich home, drawing a large mural on a wall, portraying the recent incidents related to his family. He can also speak French.
