Todd Stashwick was born on 16 October 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, US. He spent his childhood in a suburban area on the outskirts of the city of Chicago. He graduated from the Illinois State University. After this, he performed at the local improvisational theaters, which lead him to be hired for the countrywide tour with ‘The Second City’. He performed in the productions of the Second City Detroit and The Second City Northwest, and then he went to New York.
In New York, he started a company of improvisers and staged ‘Burn Manhattan’ at different places in the city. He is still attached with improvising and performing. He has his own improvisational theatre in North Hollywood named ‘The Hothouse’. He teaches and performs in this theater. He is also known to have taught and performed his style of organic improvisation at the international level.
He is married to Charity and they have a son and a daughter. He lives along with his family in Los Angeles.
He started getting roles for film and television soon after ‘Burn Manhattan’. So, he moved to Los Angeles. He appeared in recurring roles in ‘M.Ds’, ‘American Dreams‘ and ‘Still Standing’. He is better known for his role in the series ‘The Riches’. He made his appearance in the comedy ‘Surfer Dude’. He has also acted for the series ‘Will And Grace’ (3rd season) ,‘Star Trek Enterprise‘ (final season), ‘Supernatural’ (one Episode) and ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles‘ ( one episode).

Todd Stashwick is playing “Dale Malloy” in ‘The Riches’ tv show. He shares a strange relation with Wayne and Dahlia Malloy. On one hand, he is a cousin to Dahlia and on the other hand, he is just like a brother to Wayne as they grew together in the Malloy clan. At one time, he expected to marry Dahlia and become the head of the family. He feels that he has been wronged by Wayne, more than once. He is revengeful towards Wayne and his family. Now that Wayne is the husband of Dahlia, the reigns of the clan will pass unto him. This is the fact, which gives tremendous pain to him, in addition to the fact that his love was unreciprocated and he has lost his legacy. He can go to any extent to protect his legacy, and is ready to even kill his rival. However, he selfishly associates himself with Wayne, after knowing the secret of The Riches.
